    I wanted to reach out to you after Hurricane Milton blew through with something you probably don’t hear very often. Thank you! Our homes in Boca Royale held up like a fortress through the hurricane force winds and rain. No leaks, no water damage, dry roads, and no flooding from the ponds or conservation areas. We live in Unit [X] and attended the meetings regarding the recent drainage issues. You fixed them as promised and we were able to weather the storm without substantial damage. Besides screens & landscape damage which is out of your control, we look really good here.

    Appreciate all of your hard work and concern for us. And truly appreciate the great construction on our homes. We have one home on Trevino Street and are building another on Hogan Circle, due to be completed within the next 30-45 days. We obviously love it here.

    I own one of your homes in the Coastal Key community off of Winkler Road in Fort Myers. Your foresight to build our homes higher than the garages kept us from catastrophic destruction.

    I had a flooded garage just like everyone else, but no water made it into my house. I am so grateful as this is the first brand new home I ever owned.

    A Great Home In Grand Park

    Dear Mr. Neal,

    I wanted to take a moment to provide feedback regarding a home that Neal Communities is building for my wife and me. Last February we signed a contract to purchase a home in the Grand Park community (a Sandcastle).

    I have 45 years of experience in the construction industry, mostly in hospital & healthcare construction. I am a licensed Florida General Contractor (CGC-1512717). I know and understand the phases for design and construction of all types of residential homes & commercial buildings. I have been through the build process hundreds of times. Like Neal Communities. I live with the supply chain shortages that are now an ever-present part of the construction industry.

    Right from day 1, it was clear that the processes that Neal Communities had in place to build the home (and build the community) were fabulous!! The paperwork, descriptions and breakdowns for all standard features, for all options; every part, piece, nut and bolt were accounted for! The paperwork and the line­ item descriptions left no confusion. There was no mystery. Electrical systems, elevations, landscaping, cabinetry; every item is documented and detailed clearly to avoid any confusion. In my opinion Neal Communities has one of the best documentation processes I have seen in the construction business. I also noticed Neal Communities does a great job at getting that information and documentation out to field personnel and the Subcontractors. Everyone understood what the specifications required on the home.

    As good as the Neal Communities processes are, I have noticed another remarkable attribute your organization has. Your people are amazing! I am very pleased to tell you, the character, commitment and values displayed by everyone I have dealt with in your organization, are extraordinary.

    A few people that need to be mentioned: David Sanvidge; since taking over as my sales associate, has communicated with me on a weekly basis. Typical sales associates are focused on selling the next home, not following up with their previous customers. David constantly relays progress, pictures and status updates. The follow-up on David’s part makes me feel like he is walking with us every step of the journey, through the build process.

    On site, Alex Castaneda is delivering the highest quality home possible. Being in the construction business myself, I set an extremely high standard for quality and workmanship from the people & subcontractors I employ. It was great to see that Alex demands the same quality and attention to detail from the subcontractors working for Neal Communities. He kept in constant communication to ensure my questions and concerns were being addressed. I would like to recognize Alex for the heroic effort he made to ensure the house was constantly moving forward.Alex did a superb job of orchestrating the entire building process and managing the schedule. When a component or material was delayed due to supply chain issues, Alex made sure all other activities were ongoing. When I had questions, he was always there with his sleeves rolled up, getting it all sorted out.

    How a project site is kept, speaks volumes about how the site is run: Is the site a “subcontractor run site” (not clean/ debris everywhere)? Or is the site clean and demonstrates the Project Manager is in charge of the project? Is the PM respected by the site’s subcontractors? It was clear that Alex is fully in charge of his site! The house was always clean and the rough grade always had positive drainage, with no standing water on the lot. Alex’s attentionto detail and his “customer first” philosophy are unrivaled. Alex has the drive and commitment to go far in the construction industry; his future is bright! Alex is truly a Neal Communities rock star!!

    I get the feeling from all of your team that they were working for me alone. They make me feel that I am their single, most important customer. All of your team does a fantastic job communicating their portion to me. All ofthem encourage me to call if I have any questions or concerns. Every one of them takes whatever time is required to ensure my total satisfaction. Many have met with me during non-business hours to accommodate my schedule. They all deserve to be recognized for the job they are doing. Simply put, it is truly an outstanding, pleasant andtrouble-free process. Please take the time to convey to your team at Grand Park how much I appreciate the job they are doing and what a beautiful community they are creating!! I would also request that a copy of this letter beplaced in David’s and Alex’s personnel file for future reference.

    One last comment; generally speaking, great staff and great team members are reflected through great leadership in an organization. It is evident the executive leadership drives a very high standard of quality; this radiates outward, throughout your organization’s culture.     My family and I were in town back in early January 2021. My firm has an office in Lakewood Ranch and for a few years, I have been considering a transfer. My girls and I lived in Southeast Florida for so long, I knew it simply wasn’t going to be an easy decision and honestly, I never thought that it would happen!

    To get a feel for the area’s housing market, we started looking at model homes in Lakewood Ranch and then decided to head up to Parrish as we have heard good things about this up-and-coming location. After touring a few other communities in Parrish, we decided to visit Canoe Creek. I read a few articles about Neal Communities and took a look at the Canoe Creek website but when we arrived, we were very impressed. The neighborhood itself is beautiful, the homes look amazing and the clubhouse/pool area was simply spectacular!

    After a good start, we decided to take a look at the models and that is when our lives changed! When we walked in the sales center, we were greeted by Darice Levasseur…to say she was delightful and extremely intelligent about Canoe Creek and Neal Communities is an understatement! Over the next hour or so, Darice shared all of her knowledge with us and I was absolutely shocked as my girls and I really fell in love with the Dream floorplan and we had our eyes on a few different pieces of lakefront property off Old Creek Court.

    After our visit and on the way back to our hotel, the only thing we talked about was how much we loved the Dream, the neighborhood and Darice! For me, I have been managing employees for 25+ years and I could not believe how this amazing young woman transformed the permanent relocation of my family from an absolute longshot to more than a spark of hope. As the day went on and the next day began, all we could think about was figuring out a way to make this “Dream” a reality.

    When we got home from our trip, my wife and I simply could not put down all the information Darice shared with us. I recall one evening, my wife and I were talking about the potential move. Earlier in the day, I had found an existing home in Parrish online and I really liked it…nice house…nice property, this home was a good one. When I shared the information with my wife, she started to cry. I immediately stopped and asked what was wrong…her reply was simple: “I want the Dream,” and that was that! Over the next week or so, we worked with Darice to make it happen!

    Since that day, the process has been amazing…Darice has been amazing! We purchased our homesite right on a big lake, we have been through all design stages and our house is roughly 30 – 40% complete. We sold our house in Southeast Florida and just last week, we moved west and are currently living in Lakewood Ranch while Neal finishes our Dream model!

    In closing, I honestly feel like without Darice, this would have never happened! While I am no genius, I know other people and I sure know an amazing employee when I see one…Darice Levasseur is both an amazing young woman and a spectacular young employee! I would bet everything I have that my life is not the only one she has changed and if there has ever been an employee that deserves every single accolade a company provides…it is Darice. We thank God for her every day and so should Neal Communities!

    Dear. Mr. Neal,

    We are the proud and happy owners of home site 802 in Boca Royale.  We moved here from San Diego and from the moment we started looking for a home, we knew it would be a Neal home.

    I (Linda) worked in the residential development business in San Diego County for more than 25 years, providing community outreach and entitlements for developers.  So, I realize that compliments to a developer are sometimes few and far between.  That is why we are writing to tell you about the positive experience we have had with Neal.

    We fell in love with Boca Royale online and called for an appointment.  We worked with Dawna Bruner and the experience was great.  She provided my brother-in-law with information and e-mailed us as well.  We made an appointment with Dawna on a Monday morning in November of 2020.  We went through the models, drove around the Cove homes area and saw available lots and feature homes.  We fell in love with the floor plan of the Sea Mist and went to Grand Palm to visit the model there.  Although we made appointments for other Neal Communities, we knew Boca Royale was our choice as soon as we entered.

    The purpose of this note is to tell you about the Dream Team we have the pleasure of working with at Boca Royale.  Starting with Dawna Bruner, she went above and beyond throughout the whole process.  She took us to the design center to show us all the selections chosen for our feature home.  The design center staff had everything out for us when we arrived.  Throughout the construction of our home, Dawna sent pictures and videos to us regularly.

    Second, I would like to compliment Veronica McGuire. She kept us up to date on the due dates, scheduled walk-through and closing and gave us great information regarding Homeowner’s Insurance, etc.

    Third, and most important to us is our Project Manager, Todd Ortlieb.  Todd kept us apprised of progress on our home and Final Walkthrough before closing.  Todd has been a gem in helping us with any questions we have had and responds very quickly.

    Fourth, Erik Sykes in Warranty is great to work with.  We had very few items on our one-month warranty list, but Erik considered them all very important and they have all been completed.

    We couldn’t be happier with our new home and the neighborhood.  We are excited about the improvements you are doing to the club and golf course. Thank you very much.  We look forward to the future of Boca Royale. We know that golf courses are no longer as profitable throughout the United States.  In California, I worked on many projects where courses were becoming residential communities, with many disgruntled homeowners.

    Thank you for the wonderful homes you provide. We are so proud to call Boca Royale our home.

    When Michael and Patricia Rodrigues began their home buying process in January, they had the lush community of Windward by Neal Communities in mind. They also knew that to make this possible, they needed someone who could make the building feel like home, a detail they shared with Construction Manager Jason Kohl.

    New to Neal Communities but embodying our company’s commitment to improving the lives of every customer, Jason wanted the couple to have an unforgettable experience designing their new home.

    After they decided to build a villa on homesite #62, Jason and our construction teams immediately went to work on the couple’s new home. Jason even provided his contact information and encouraged them to share any questions or concerns, wanting the couple to know he was with them every step of the way.

    Knowing they would have to make long treks from Southeast Florida, Jason sent weekly photos of construction progress to the couple. Even when they needed to come to the home to run measurements at the last-minute, Jason was more than happy to accommodate these requests, an extra step the Rodrigueses deeply appreciated.

    My wife and I have just started moving in to our new Neal home in Grand Palm and I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Your team did a great job and we are thrilled.

    I especially want to commend our project manager Brian Hill.  Brian did an outstanding job of making sure that our expectations were met.  We had built a home with another builder in Sarasota a few years ago and they did a nice job. But Brian made sure that our experience at Neal was above and beyond the norm.  Most importantly he did a great job of being available and communicating with us.

    In addition, every member of the team that we worked with including the folks at Neal Funding, Michael Kaitz and Noel Richards, were a pleasure as were Nicole Nici in Design and Michelle in Customer Service.
